  1. High-water year
    Vault on-site for the duration of the high-water season (typically April–November).
  2. Storm watch
    Open and inspect. Lake-effect rainfall and onshore-wind seiche risk.
  3. Storm warning
    Deploy. Seiche events can raise water levels by hours, not days.
  4. All clear
    Inspect. Lake-water flooding leaves significant freshwater debris.

The lake has been at this level before. The garage has not.
