No — FloodVault is flood protection, not a long-term storage cover. Deploy it for the storm watch, the flood event and the days around it, then open it and let the vehicle air out. Any sealed waterproof envelope traps whatever humidity is inside it when you close it, and over weeks or months that moisture can condense and cause mildew, musty interiors or surface corrosion. Load the vehicle clean and dry, add a desiccant pack for multi-day deployments, and unseal once the water risk has passed.

We do not recommend it. FloodVault is engineered and warranted as event protection against floodwater, not as a season-long storage cover. For months of storage, use a breathable indoor cover in a ventilated or climate-controlled space and keep the vault folded on the shelf for the next flood watch. Moisture damage that results from long-term sealed storage is a use condition, not a product defect, and is not covered by the warranty.

Every FloodVault has a sealed vacuum valve welded into the envelope. After the TIZIP MasterSeal is fully seated, you attach a shop vacuum and draw the air out. The envelope collapses onto the vehicle, which removes slack that wind or moving water could pull against, reduces trapped-air buoyancy, and shrinks the vault's footprint. It is also a free seal test: if the vault draws down and stays down, the closure is sealed. Any small wet/dry shop vac works.
